Researcher at the INRF since 1990. Phyto-ecologist of Formation (State Engineer in Ecology and Environment (University of Bab Ezzouar USTHB) Magister in Agricultural Science of the University of Tizi Ouzou (UMMTO).

Leads several national and international research projects (biodiversity, climate change, arboreta, aromatic and medicinal plants, invasive plants, invasive and allergenic ....).

Director of publication of the Annals of Forest Research in Algeria and the Forest Review of INRF.

Scientific Authority flora Algeria CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)

Since 2017, Focal Point of the Science and Technology Committee (CST) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)

Member of the Intersectoral Commission for Scientific Research and Technological Development in charge of Environmental Planning (Representative of MADRP).
